UR8L Overhead 7th Axis with Protective Enclosure

This design features an overhead 7th-axis motion system with a protective enclosure, built for the Universal Robot UR8L. It integrates a rack-and-pinion actuator mounted on a rigid T-slot aluminum frame, enabling extended reach and precise linear motion above the workspace. The setup includes full safety guarding with enclosure panels, cable management, and all required mounting hardware for seamless cobot integration. Designed for reliability and operator safety, the system combines high structural rigidity with smooth motion control.
