Keyence Laser Area Scanner - Parent (Safety Module Compatible)

The Keyence Laser Area Scanner (parent version) is a compact and discrete safety device. Featuring an 8.4m radius safety zone, total and partial muting (optional), and multiple zone monitoring, it can be used in a multitude of applications that require restricted access such as palletizers and robot cells. Keyence's Laser Scanner can be used with Vention’s MachineMotion 2 controllers (CE-CL-010-0004 & CE-CL-010-0001) and Safety Module (CE-SA-008-0000_2) to create a safe work environment. It can also be used as a standalone unit connected to a robot controller. Users will be able to define safety and muting zones with custom geometries suitable for a large array of applications. An e-stop module & reset (CE-SA-007-0000) is recommended. Add child units to create use multiple area scanners in sync. Includes cable CE-SA-120-0001 which is required to connect the Light Curtain to the Safety Module (CE-SA-008-0000_2). Additional kits compatible with this scanner are the area scanner muting kit (CE-AP-002-0000) and bank switching cable (CE-CA-067-5000)
