Safety enclosure for robotic surgical mask machine
Challenge
Following a large order of surgical masks, Genik's client wanted to manufacture their product using a locally developed solution. The only way for Genik's client to remain competitive in this market was to automate their local operations. The addition of enclosures to the robotic cells provides a level of safety for the machine operators which meets North American and International standards.
Solution
Safety enclosure for a robotic surgical mask machine that can produce 180 masks per minute. Vention's custom-built safety enclosure is used to seperate operators from the high-speed robot cells. With a smart design and intuitive interface the machine can be run and maintained by a single operator. Safety interlock switches make it easy to access the equipment if/when an intervention is needed on the equipment.
