Vention returned to PACK EXPO International in Chicago to showcase the latest innovations in the industry. Engaging with manufacturers and gaining insights into their specific packaging challenges is always the most anticipated aspect of the show. With over 2,600 exhibitors and educational sessions on a wide range of topics—from AI to digitalization in packaging—there was a lot to unpack.
This year, Vention demonstrated its innovative automation solutions for the packaging industry. We showcased the Rapid Series Palletizer, the new Modular Conveyor System, Adjustable Vacuum Grippers, and MachineApps palletizing configuration software. Vention also partnered with Universal Robots to demonstrate the UR20 Rapid Series Palletizer handling pails and highlighted ‘Remote Support’. PACK EXPO International was a tremendous success for Vention. We showcased the Cobot palletizer offering, which garnered significant attention. It was made clear that manufacturers are increasingly seeking solutions that prioritize ease of use and require minimal programming. Vention’s full platform, designed to support these needs, resonated strongly with attendees. The show reinforced Vention’s position as a leader in accessible automation solutions for the packaging industry.

New Modular Conveyors
The plug-and-play simplicity of Vention’s new conveyors was on full display at PACK EXPO. Traditional conveyor systems can ironically reduce operations efficiency during deployment. It can take months to get them up and running, causing a loss of momentum and business advantage. The new Modular Conveyor System from Vention is a groundbreaking solution that can flip the script for 3PL. With the ability to configure in 5 minutes and ship in 5 days, it offers the fastest deployment timeline available today. Since no specialist knowledge is required to configure the system, it facilitates rapid changeovers, making it easy to adapt to changing requirements.
Adjustable Robot Grippers
Vention introduced its new Adjustable Vacuum Grippers at PACK EXPO. This versatile solution offers 16 configurations and adjustable cup sizes allowing manufacturers to adapt to a wide range of recipes and box dimensions without investing in new equipment. Backed by extensive real-world testing data, the new grippers reduce investment risk for manufacturers. They ship quickly and install in minutes, providing a rapid solution for evolving business needs.
Palletizing Software & Remote Support
PACK EXPO International 2024 was also a great opportunity to see a live demo of Vention’s MachineApps software—further extending the theme of accessible automation that doesn’t require specialists. With MachineApps, manufacturers can create new recipes in minutes, using Vention’s intuitive interface.
Visitors also had the opportunity to discover how easy it is to access on-demand Remote Support through Vention’s Pendant V3 at Vention and Universal Robots booths. Built-in front and back cameras, calling functionality, and screen-sharing options make troubleshooting a breeze.
