We’re thrilled to announce the integration of NVIDIA technologies into the Vention ecosystem. Unveiled at Computex 2024 by NVIDIA’s CEO and later highlighted at Demo Day 2024, this collaboration represents over a year of dedicated efforts to bring advanced industrial automation technology to small and medium manufacturers.
NVIDIA, renowned for its cutting-edge cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, will enhance many of Vention’s manufacturing automation solutions with its advanced capabilities. This collaborative effort will elevate the Vention ecosystem while maintaining the intuitive and easy-to-use interfaces that the Manufacturing Automation Platform is known for.
“The Vention ecosystem, with NVIDIA’s robotics technology and AI expertise, will help bring pivotal innovation to the manufacturing renaissance and overall industry. Now, even the most complex use cases can become achievable for small and medium manufacturers.” – Etienne Lacroix, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vention.
Creating MachineMotion AI, the first AI-enabled automation controller
The collaboration with NVIDIA is focused on using AI to simplify the realization of industrial automation and robotic projects, from equipment design to operational execution. In particular, the collaboration’s first phase will combine NVIDIA’s accelerated computing technology with Vention’s automation controller to create MachineMotion AI, the first AI-enabled automation controller.
As the centerpiece of Vention’s hardware and software ecosystem, MachineMotion AI bridges the gap between traditional PLCs and modern robot programming environments. This 3rd-generation controller is designed to significantly simplify the development and deployment of robotics applications for manufacturers of all sizes.
Powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson technology, MachineMotion AI opens the door to AI-enabled and autonomous robotics with the ability to run 2D/3D perception models trained in synthetic and physical environments.

Advancing digital twin technology to lower deployment risks
In addition, this collaboration is advancing the accuracy of Vention’s digital twin capabilities. With the integration of a new physics engine into Vention’s cloud-based digital twin simulation environment, manufacturers can simulate programs in a realistic virtual environment prior to deployment. This provides near-exact replication of real-world movements, allowing manufacturers to thoroughly test their projects before they invest, significantly reducing deployment risks.
